Did the beach bring light Into our eyes that night Or was it the stars? A match struck And many hearts brightened When knowns became the unknowns Became the knowns. Stolen glances Accompanied stolen kisses And others watched on In disbelief. Was it the sounds The surrounds That decapitated many of us? Was leading with out hearts A good idea, Or will we never know?
I sit In my sunshine patch Amidst the Norfolk pines And wait for the fairies Unmistakable Flashes of light I see a glimpse of one As it dodges behind a tree Others are Tittering amongst the dandelions Many pizzicato flutters As they swoop and soar Somersaulting With the autumn leaves In the scanty breeze I dance and spin Oxygen racing through my veins Even when they go, I never want this moment to end
